With the Christ Water Technology Group you will benefit from modular water treatment systems which run with almost no chemicals. These systems are optimised for low operating costs and high operational reliability.
SEPTRON® – the best method for ecological water treatment
Our innovative electrodeionisation method complies fully with the responsibility for the environment. Water treated in a reverse osmosis stage flows into the patented SEPTRON® module, where it is continuously deionised.
This is carried out with an electric current, without the need for chemicalsand with only a low power consumption. Water enters a chamber which is filled with an ion exchanger. The electrical potential applied to the electrodes causes charged ions, such as sodium and chloride, to pass through the ion exchange membrane into a concentrate chamber, from which they are discarded. The ion exchanger inside the SEPTRON® module reduces the electrical resistance, which means that the power needed to achieve the desired deionisation is also low. This method permits the removal of ionic components from the water without increasing the total amount of salt (from the viewpoint of the entire process).
SEPTRON® modules are available with capacities of 150, 500, 1000 and 3000 l/h and for coldwater applications as well as for hotwater sanitization. This modular design allows to build-up systems from low to very high flowrates.
