Gases such as oxygen as well as some (volatile) organics are subsequently removed in a degasifying unit (e.g. two-stage vacuum degasifier or membrane degasifier). Water is then purified to almost the highest theoretical resistivity level by three mixed-bed ion exchangers MGR in a Merry-Go-Round arrangement with external regeneration (MOVEX). The growing demand for chemical-free concepts may also lead to the application of SEPTRON
® electrodeionization systems.
