Elegant and cost-effective.
About ten years ago CHRIST revolutionised the industry with OSMOTRON – the first pre-assembled skid-mounted unit with all process stages for the production of pharmaceutical water. At present more than 700 systems are in operation across the world. With OSMOTRON PRO a totally modernised line was introduced during Achema in Frankfurt. The start was very successful: Several systems have been sold after the exhibition and are already in the engineering and manufacturing process.
All system options for the production of Purified Water and Highly Purified Water are characterised by their ergonomics and energy-efficiency. The components are easily accessible which facilitates sampling and problem-free maintenance. New block valves substitute eight single valves, which improves the flow and emptying process of the components, and thus significantly lowers documentation and validation load. Highest microbiological safety is ensured by intelligent and simplified process flow with the shortest distance between water in- and outlet. An optimum separation of the utilities is ensured by the new skid-mounted solution with integrated sewage drains.
OSMOTRON PRO is economical and environmental-friendly: With the optional concentrate processing stage total recovery can be increased from usually 70% to 90%. A new modern hardness measurement without the use of indicators enables fully automatic adjustment of softener cycles to the specific raw water hardness. Depending on the feedwater quality this allows savings of 15 to 30%of salt and wastewater.
Standard equipment offers outputs of 500 l/h up to 10.000 l/h.
