CHRIST wins € 60 million large order for process and potable water

Mondsee, March 23rd, 2009

Aqua Engineering South Africa (Pty) Ltd., a subsidiary of Christ Water Technology Group has been awarded one of the largest water treatment contract ever placed in South Africa, valued at € 60 million.

The water treatment plant consists of a pre-treatment and demineralisation facility as well as a Condensate Polishing Plant (CPP). The installation will include several state-of-the-art and proven water treatment technologies and processes.
 
A substantial portion of the plant design and construction will be executed locally utilizing South African CHRIST-expertise and manufacture. A skills transfer programme will be instituted as part of the Aqua Engineering SA contract.

The water treatment plant is due for completion in 2010 and the 6 units for the condensate polishing lines between 2011 and 2013.
